Uveitis


Uveitis is an inflammation of the components of the eye. Uveitis can affect one or both eyes. It can be sudden onset or long-lasting. Symptoms can involve light sensitivity, blurred vision, and eye pain.

Uveitis may have many causes, including autoimmune disease, injury, or medications. The treatment for uveitis depends on the cause and severity of disease.
